How has the 2008 US economic turmoil affected you and your riding-scale hobby?
1. Can you still afford regular trips to your local railroad? I have had to cut back I go about the same I own the railroad and live there (arrow down to select your answers)
2. Are you still traveling to other railroads to participate with others in the hobby? I have to cut back going to my local railroad I have cut back on trips to other railroads I have no change in my railroad travel habits
3. Are you buying or selling riding-scale equipment due to the economy? I need to sell some equipment to help make ends meet I will ride it out with what I have I plan on purchasing additional equipment [new or used]
4. Have you considered getting out of the hobby due to high cost? I may have to find a more affordable hobby I stick with it but cut back for now I should be just as active as ever
5. Has the price of fuel for your locomotive(s) caused you to cut back on regular running time? I have cut down my running time due to high fuel cost Still running as much as I like My battery power works great in a fuel crisis
