Union Pacific Bigboy Cast Iron Trailing Truck Casting

The patterns for this trailing truck were constructed from original UP drawings.  Cast in iron and weighing 38 pounds.  This one was incomplete and needs touch up in 5 places along the top flange using brass or nickel as well as finish grinding and machining. It is 1:8 scale, 7-1/2 inch gauge and will have a wheel diameter of 5.25 and wheel base of 8 inches. It is fully cored for the leaf springs and equalizers. The price of this casting is $1,000. Located in Oklahoma.
