of the U.P. 119, that was built by Crown for the Omaha Zoo Railroad
in the late 60's.
This is the morning of the first revenue day after a major rebuild,
we are just outside of the Union Pacific Engine house at the Omaha

| After taking on water
at Sterling on Pat McCarthy's BIG CREEK & SOUTHERN RR, Spencer, my
then four-year-old grandson and still dedicated live steamer, was
busy contemplating his having to sit in the wet spot when I was
given the "highball".

Locomotive: 3-1/2" ga. B&O P-7d Pacific.
Engineer: Ted McJannett (owner: Miniature Power Products)
Ted built this locomotive from the original Coventry castings,
and did a fantastic job with it. The locomotive includes steam
brakes, and working injector. This year, Ted chose to run with
a load of 1,000 lbs; hearing the exhaust on the grades was
wonderful! Ted came in third in this years event, and first for
3-1/2" scale. The write-up can be had at
