Daddy's little girl loves to ride

Engineer: Jim Roberts
Taken at Waushakum Live Steamers, Holliston MA. in September 2001
Engine is a 0-4-0 Sidetank switcher custom Built by my father Waldron Roberts in the early 60's JRoberts@c-cor.net

"A fun day on the Berk"

Photo by Mr. Rick Rubino at the Pennsylvania Live Steamers Spring Meet. The locomotive was built by Mr. John H. Bortz Sr., Nickle Plate 2-8-4 Berkshire #757. Locomotive built from castings
available from Jim Kreider as seen on the "Real Trains" website.
Engineer David Bortz Sr. (John's son)

1 1/2" NG Mich-Cal shay constructed from William Harris series in Live Steam magazine. The riding car is also Harris design for carrying a donkey
engine rig, but serves to riders very well. The caboose is my work up using an old set of drawings of a D&H 4 wheel bobber. The caboose houses a propane tank for firing the boiler. Photo taken this past Spring at the New Jersey Live Steam club track. NBriskman@mindspring.com
