"Electronic Climax"

Portola Valley & Alpine R.R. in Portola Valley, CA.  New home built 7.5" gauge, 3" scale Class A 22 ton Climax geared locomotive. Unique, battery powered  electric.  On its first run day it  ran for 6 hours without charging.  It has a Soundtraxx sound system with an 8" sub woofer in the steam dome and a 6" mid range in the stack. All  this backed up by a 200 watt amplifier, it makes heads turn when running down  the track.  Locomotive built by Jeff Badger.

"Two-Truck Heisler"

Finger Lakes Live Steamers, Marengo NY, September 22, 2001 (Fall Meet - 2001)

Reggie Aceto is operating his one-inch scale two-truck Heisler, designed by Kozo Hiraoka, and scratch-built by Reggie's (deceased) grandfather -William Wemesfelder.  The trestle connects the one-inch scale turntable with the ground track.

Finger Lakes Live Steamers, Marengo NY, September 24, 1999 (30th Anniversary Meet) Four 1-1/2" scale locomotives - 2 Pacifics, a Consolidation, and a Hudson all visiting from the New Jersey Live Steamers. The second engine from the left is Dick Cudd's B&O pacific. The NYC Hudson on the right was also built by Dick Cudd.  Dick, Ron Cicchini and Bill
Musgrave are "the 3 visiting steamers" from the New Jersey Live Steamers.
