"UP 680 ready for another day"

UP 680 ready for another day of service at the Western Illinois Railroad. Locomotive is a GP-40 built in 1996 by Lee Wright of Bloomington, IL at the Western Illinois Railroad in Henry, Illinois.

Taken in August 2002.  The locomotive has just had its new ditch lights and MU covers installed.

"Jarred's Day"

This photo was taken at the Riverside fall meet.  John Hannah is seen here teaching 7 year old Jarred Anderson how to run a steam engine. This was Jarred's first time to run a locomotive.

"North Woods "

This little steam engine is # 98, 15" gage 4-4-0. It was built in 1953 by Sandley Light Railway Company.  This is one of the two little steam engines you can get a ride from at Riverside & Great Northern Railway in Wisconsin Dells, WI. This picture was from the 50th Anniversary party in October 2002.

"Frigid Fall Day"

I'll never forget this day (October 1998 ) it was very cold in the North Woods. The little steam train is #82 15" gage 4-4-0. It was built by Sandley Light Railways Co. in 1957. This is one of the two steam trains that run at Riverside & Great Northern Railway in Wisconsin Dells, WI.
